Sent wrong model - does not work with VCR's

You substituted a Sony RMT-D173A remote, which can control a DVD player and a TV, but not a VCR. It does not have the necessary functions of input selection (coax, line 1 & line 2), recording speed (SP & EP), and RECORD. It will not even turn the VCR on and off. I deduced that the “V” after the dash in the part number means VCR and the “D” after the dash means DVD. Please advise how to return the item.

Remote doesn’t work

The remote did not work and I did not receive a reply back from customer service. I will have to take this unfortunate matter to PayPal for a refund.
